International Employment Counseling Associate – AmLaw 100 Firm (Multiple Offices | Hybrid)
Experience: 3+ Years
Compensation: $260,000 – $435,000 DOE + Full Benefits Package

Our AmLaw 100 client, a global leader in employment law, is seeking a skilled and driven Employment Counseling Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its internationally renowned team. This is a rare opportunity to work with a top-tier firm that handles some of the most sophisticated cross-border and domestic employment matters in the market.

About the Opportunity:
This role is focused on employment counseling with an international scope, providing strategic advice to global clients. You will work closely with attorneys across multiple offices in one of the most robust global employment practices in the world.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Advising on cross-border employment issues and global compliance strategies

  • Conducting employment diligence for corporate transactions

  • Drafting and negotiating employment, retention, and separation agreements

  • Advising on reductions in force and sensitive terminations

  • Counseling clients on restrictive covenants and mobility issues

  • Supporting emerging companies on a full range of employment matters

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 3+ years of employment counseling experience (international experience highly preferred)

  • AmLaw 100 or elite boutique law firm background

  • JD from a nationally recognized law school

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and business judgment abilities

  • Admission to practice in the jurisdiction where you’re applying
